Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 7 land, the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations, as well as the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley Nations. Treaty 7 is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. We honour all Nations—Indigenous and non-Indigenous—who respect, celebrate, and steward this land. |
Leadership is about shaping the future, not just for some, for all.
We must confront uncomfortable truths, address disparities, and take meaningful action to build a legacy of equity and opportunity for future generations. Leaders align, include, and unify with every intention and action. This means creating spaces where all voices are heard, respected, and empowered. Reconciliation is not a single initiative or program, it is a moral and ethical imperative to listen with humility, learn with open hearts, and lead with courage in our organizations, our communities, and our daily lives. |
